SMS Alerts & Messaging Program

RescueRides sends automated SMS/text alerts to coordinating volunteer drivers. These alerts include active transport route updates, coordinator messages, and emergency route notices.

Opt-In Process: Volunteer drivers opt-in to receiving SMS notifications by entering their mobile phone number and checking the "Opt-in to SMS Notifications" checkbox in their Profile Settings. Consent is obtained specifically for transactional and route-related SMS messages; no marketing messages are sent.
